Responsible for the safety and security of personnel, assets, facilities and information at the company and private estate.
Monitor access control, video surveillance (CCTV) and alarm systems.
Respond to security-related incidents, medical crises, safety incidents, natural disasters and other emergencies; dispatch security officers, police, fire, EMS and other services as required.
Constantly tour, observe, and maintain perimeter security of the property and provide a physical presence at all times.
Investigate incidents, escalate situations to the Security Operations Center (SOC), and file incident reports.
Process and distribute information including phone calls, notifications, email, intranet items, service requests, shift activity logs and incident reports.
Patrol property perimeter and monitor/test intrusion and other alarm systems at multiple locations.
Assist shift supervisors in deployment of security personnel and security personnel activities.
Document and investigate security events and incidents and report safety concerns both verbally and in writing.
Build and maintain effective communication and relationships with co-workers, staff, subcontractors, vendors and guests.
Communicate via radio, telephone, email and in-person.
Participate in training and certification programs and be familiar with security operations manuals, post orders, policies and procedures.
Use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and operate computer systems effectively.
Remain flexible to changing environments, multi-task, and work effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism, privacy and confidentiality.
May be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, outdoors and travel domestically and internationally.
Requirements
Minimum of a high school diploma.
Minimum 5 years of prior security, military or law enforcement background with 2 years of supervisory experience.
Possess strong computer skills and demonstrate the ability to effectively operate and manage security tools and processes, including access control, intrusion alarm systems, CCTV, and communications equipment.
Must have a current CCW permit
