About the role
- Report directly to the WW VP of Public Sector Sales and drive expansion into the U.S. Civilian Federal market
- Build and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategy across Department of Defense (DoD) and Civilian sectors
- Lead and develop a high-performing federal sales team across Civilian sectors
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of Wiz Cloud Security Solutions and communicate value to federal customers
- Identify new business opportunities within the U.S. Federal space and leverage understanding of federal acquisition processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, solutions engineering, and customer success teams
- Analyze sales performance metrics to improve team efficiency and alignment with revenue goals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the federal government
- Stay informed on industry trends, compliance requirements, and procurement processes to guide strategy and execution
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in federal sales leadership, with a strong focus on the Civilian agencies
- Proven track record of building and executing successful GTM strategies within the U.S. Federal market, driving significant revenue growth
- Demonstrated success in leading a team of enterprise and major account executives focused on federal sales
- In-depth knowledge of federal procurement processes, compliance (including FedRAMP), and acquisition lifecycles
- Strong understanding of cloud security solutions and their applicability within federal environments
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, with the capacity to influence both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and navigate complex sales cycles in the federal space
- Candidates must meet EAR part 772 and ITAR 120.15 definition of a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or “protected person") and reside in the contiguous United States
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based without the need for visa sponsorship
