About the role

  • Participate in all technical aspects of delivering complex customer solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Advise clients on best practice within the ServiceNow platform to create lasting value and enhanced experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., FedRAMP, DoD IL-4/IL-5)
  • Collaborate with virtual functional teams and lead technical solution design sessions to achieve project goals and produce a variety of high-quality deliverables.
  • Contribute on multiple Agile engagements, utilizing the Windward methodology and tools to enhance project efficiency.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by delivering on a variety of project roles; including documentation, testing, and training.
  • Innovate and identify solutions that can be reused on future engagements.
  • Proactively keep ServiceNow skills current and contribute to Windward thought leadership.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience implementing ServiceNow (SN) , specifically ITAM, HAM , SAM and EAM
  • A comprehensive understanding of both SN Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and SN Software Asset Management (SAM), and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) including SN Certified Implementation Specialist - SAM - HAM and EAM, and Asset Model Management micro-certification.
  • Experience implementing SAM SaaS connections (Microsoft O365, Adobe Creative Cloud, Salesforce, etc.), as well as procurement module and contract lifecycle management (CLM) application integrations.
  • Experience with complex license metrics/reconciliations (IBM, Oracle, etc.), software spend detection, stockroom/inventory management, and contract management solutions a major plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in at least one other area of ServiceNow, such as ITSM, ITOM, or SPM
  • Broad experience implementing related Core Process Areas to asset management: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request, Knowledge, CMDB.
  • Experience in Integrations, SAMP, HAM, EAM, Contracts, CMDB
  • Experience working with Agile teams, methodologies, and tools in a virtual environment.
  • A passion for advising and guiding customers on how to get the most out of the product and for learning the latest product features.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Hardware Asset Management (CIS-HAM)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Enterprise Asset Management (CIS-EAM)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
  • Additional Requirements
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications, such as ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, other platform CIS such as ITSM, Discovery, Service Mapping, etc.
  • Professional ITAM industry certifications from IAITAM, IBSMA, and/or ITAM Review.
  • ITIL Certification
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting
  • Exposure to/general understanding of software licensing practices.
  • Bonus points for specific expertise in one or more of the following vendors: Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, Oracle, VMWare, Citrix, SAP.
  • Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or Hardware Asset Management (CHAMP) is a plus.
