About the role

  • Provide CMDB and Service Mapping modeling and advisory for clients.
  • Model network, storage, and other infrastructure within the CMDB.
  • Assess current state processes and tools, defining solution requirements including integrations, architecture, and implementation plans.
  • Configuration and development with ServiceNow CMDB and Service Mapping, both implementation work and oversight of team members.
  • Work with clients to model network, storage and compute infrastructure.
  • Assist IT organization in comparing various Vendor’s tool products and document tool requirements from To-Be processes.

Requirements

  • ServiceNow Mainline Certifications in Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping
  • Expertise in at least three full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations
  • 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow with a strong focus on the Event management aned monitoring and integrations
  • Deep expertise in cloud deployment and standardizations and consulting on implementation with large enterprises.
  • Deep experience modeling network, storage and compute infrastructure
  • Understanding of application and infrastructure architectures as they apply to monitoring including cloud, networking, compute platforms, containers, and application services.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and implementing ITSM/ITIL® and CMDB processes and solutions
  • 8+ years of professional services/consulting experience
  • 3+ years of experience documenting tool requirements from To-Be processes and assisting the IT organization in comparing various Vendor’s tool products
  • Demonstrable experience with ServiceNow JavaScript and glide queries
  • Excellent interpersonal skills combined with practice establishing and maintaining credibility as a ServiceNow expert
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Certification (CSA) (desired)
  • CIS Event Management Micro certification (desired)
  • Health log analytics (desired)
  • ServiceNow AIOPS certification (desired)
  • Web Development experience a significant plus (desired)
  • Javascripting experience (desired)
  • ITIL®v3 Expert designation (desired)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience/ combination of education and experience.
