Support an approximate 9-month NPD project with the work vehicle solutions team
Lead large-scale/complex NPD project teams by planning, coordinating, and communicating between departmental disciplines
Assist lead engineers and product managers on residential and commercial consumer products when required
Execute products from conceptual phases through manufacturing and commercial launch
Develop and implement project plans and schedules; define responsibilities and timelines
Lead cross-functional teams, assign work, coordinate deliverables, and motivate team members
Track project baselines, monitor progress, report program risks/opportunities to upper management, and take corrective actions
Utilize stage-gating product development process and contribute to product portfolio strategy and roadmaps
Contribute to product innovation, strategic brainstorming, and leverage end-user insights, competitive analysis, and manufacturing/customer care data
Provide support to product engineers and product managers on optimal execution paths
Take direction from Sr. Project Managers or Directors and communicate updates and corrective actions to senior leadership
Requirements
BSE or equivalent required
PMP Certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years experience in leading and managing consumer product projects (or 10+ years relevant project management experience)
Experience working on projects in cross-functional team setting of engineering development & design, product validation, marketing, procurement, production scheduling, materials management
Experience with mechanical manufacturing and design methods related to metal and plastic components, finishes, packaging, and manufacturing processes such as stampings, molding, extrusions, and other fabrication methods
Strong capability in Windows-based applications: PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project
Demonstrated leadership, organization, collaboration, and execution skills with independent judgment
Ability to motivate teams, seek solutions across departments, and proactively raise issues and opportunities
Willingness to travel to domestic and international engineering centers, manufacturing sites, and suppliers
