About the role
- Senior Tax Analyst role within Wells Fargo's Property Tax Team in the Indirect Tax for Leasing Business Group
Prepare comprehensive tax work papers, perform complex account analysis and improve policies and procedures
Perform complex tax accounting activities related to federal, state and local tax returns and financial statement accounting for income taxes
Analyze complex transactions and research opportunities to minimize income taxes and manage income tax risks
Evaluate issues and apply business judgment and ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns
Perform tax research and manage one or more tax professionals providing guidance and training
Collect and communicate information to federal and state income tax auditors and develop relationships with business units
Manage tax data movement between systems, data validation, system testing, and workflow administration
Experience with PTMS, InfoLease, Excel, SQL/Database, SharePoint, PowerBI or other data services, and filing/paying personal property taxes in different jurisdictions
Requirements
- 4+ years of Corporate Tax experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Ability to work a hybrid schedule, three (3) days in office and two (2) days remote
