About the role
- Design and develop processes that translate data from various sources to destinations
- Analyze existing code, deliberate findings with team members, clients, and vendors
- Develop ingestion and transformation pipelines using best practices
- Serve as a mentor for less experienced developers and participate in code reviews
- Develop, test, manage, and implement ETL packages, SQL Stored Procedures and applications
- Tune and troubleshoot ETL applications and solve complex ETL-related technical tasks
- Perform ETL administration tasks such as deployment, package migration/relocation, and metadata management
- Prepare ETL packages for deployment to development and test environments following Release Management policies
- Escalate issues in a timely manner and multi-task/prioritize ETL assignments
- Work strictly on application development & demo without access to PHI/PII or secured/confidential client data
Requirements
- Must be able to analyze existing code written in SSIS and SQL Stored procedures and modify for new requirements
- 5+ years ETL design and development experience using SSIS and MS SQL Backend like stored procedures, triggers etc.
- Good skills in backend development in a MS SQL environment
- 5+ years Analysis experience & database knowledge utilizing SSIS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to abide by Gainwell’s policies and values
- Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work
- Preferred Licensure/Certification: Microsoft Business Intelligence certification(s).
