About the role
- Act as a gatekeeper and point of contact by managing the executive’s inbox, filtering and prioritizing emails, and drafting responses when appropriate
- Support planning and coordination of virtual and in person events, including logistics, communications, and scheduling
- Conduct light research and summarize findings to inform decision making or prepare the executive for meetings
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate information, ensuring contacts and pipelines are well organized
- Provide support on various administrative and ad hoc tasks as needed, from scheduling to document prep and project coordination
- Serve as a sounding board and thought partner, bringing structure and clarity to the executive’s day to day
Requirements
- Experience as an EA for a venture capital firm or a start up (Non-negotiable)
- Slack, CRM tools, and chat GPT experience (Non-negotiable)
- Good positive energy and team orientation; long term partnership focus
- Experience supporting more than one person / team based support (Good to have)
- Experience co-managing an executive's inbox (Good to have)
- Experience working with folks who have ADHD (Good to have)
- Industry/Tools Experience: Affinity, Notion, Slack, Superhuman, Google drive
- Availability: 20 hours/week
- Time Zone: 9AM-6PM EDT
