About the role
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers working on AI-driven code generation tools
- Oversee the development and maintenance of CodeGen projects
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver features
- Drive adoption of best practices in software development
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration
- Ensure the team’s work aligns with Webflow’s overall strategic goals and objectives
- Report to the Director of Engineering
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams
- Strong background in software development, with a focus on AI and machine learning
- Experience building or overseeing AI-driven code generation tools and CodeGen projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
- Ability to collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders
- Experience managing project timelines, resources, and budgets
- Commitment to continuous learning and building fluency in emerging AI technologies
- Valid right to work authorization depending on country of employment
