Compliance

• Oversee the Group’s external facing regulatory intelligence activity, ensuring that all relevant regulatory developments are identified, assessed, and communicated to clients, prospective clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure that clients, prospective clients and client facing internal stakeholders are regularly briefed in a structured manner on regulatory change through newsletters, insights, and tailored communications.
• Identify commercial opportunities arising from market and regulatory developments and contribute to the Group’s Product Roadmap and revenue generation strategy.
• Work closely with local compliance and legal teams to ensure on the ground insight and expertise is harnessed and that local client updates are tailored appropriately.
• Work closely with the Group Head of Horizon Scanning to agree effective methods of monitoring all relevant market and regulatory developments that may impact the Group’s clients, prospective clients, or delegates (in particular, Investment Managers).
• Maintain a centralised, easily accessible repository of regulatory updates and insights.
• Develop and deliver regular (monthly/quarterly) client newsletters summarising regulatory and market changes, tailored by client type and jurisdiction.
• Create and deliver targeted client briefings, webinars, and thought leadership on significant changes.
• Partner with Product teams and Business Development and to translate regulatory change into new or enhanced product offerings; seeking opportunities for revenue growth.
• Coordinate with Compliance and Legal to ensure consistency, accuracy and regulatory compliance in client communications.
• Support the training and enablement of internal teams to ensure regulatory changes are understood and leveraged effectively in client discussions.
• Support the Relationship Managers and Key Account Managers including with regulatory updates for use in Board Reports.
• Provide technical sales support through training the Business Development team in new regulation, new product offerings and changes to existing products.

Director – Regulatory Intelligence

• Services and maintains relationship with a portfolio of clients
• Conducts first level review of documentation for Director signature
• Maintains portfolio of clients with complex structures
• Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of US FATCA, CRS
• Serve as a client operational contact
• Monitors the accounts receivables for portfolio of clients
• Prepare documents such as agendas and FATCA CRS reports
• Assists in the development and implementation of department AEOI procedures and processes

Associate – AEOI Compliance

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Analysing the investment process and performance of Waystone’s client portfolios for the Management Company (both UCITS and AIFMD)
• Tracking developments in markets to understand the implications for Waystone’s UCITS and AIFMD fund ranges incorporating equity, fixed income, private credit, balanced funds, hedge fund and private equity strategies
• Reviewing fund-related reports provided by Investment Managers and Administrators and Depositaries
• Drafting documentation for monthly review by Waystone’s Investment Oversight Committee
• Acting as a member of the Waystone’s Investment Oversight Committee
• Participating in regular calls with world-leading Investment Managers
• Preparing/reviewing investment commentary and performance reports for Fund Boards
• Undertaking research across a variety of investment fund topics as requested by Senior Management
• Evaluating new fund proposals and highlighting the key factors to be considered or amended when deciding whether these funds should be approved
• Line management duties such as performance reviews, monitoring and checking other work output

• Independently liaise in a timely and professional manner with the AML Manager and various business stakeholders to complete the client review process
• Carry out AML reviews, financial sanction screenings and independent research on Waystone clients globally
• Performing anti-money laundering checks in line with AML policies and procedures
• Prepare the “AML” pack for sign off by AML COE
• Review, understand and have the ability to discuss anti money laundering regulations with colleagues
• Monitor and update task tracking schedule to ensure all assigned duties are completed within assigned deadlines
• Maintain checklists/procedures in relation to the AML process
• Maintain and update AML - Fenergo system
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of AML regulation and best practice and uses this knowledge to promote enhancements to Waystone’s AML processes and procedures
• Assists colleagues when capacity permits and notifies AML Manager with availability
• Follow current Waystone policies and procedures as set out in the Employee Handbook
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior associates, fostering a culture of compliance and professional development
