About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of junior and senior associates delivering professional service to a portfolio of clients.
Support the Corporate Services team in managing ongoing client company service requirements.
Prepare and review management accounts and financial statements, ensuring tax compliance.
Plan, organise and complete tasks to meet client engagement requirements.
Manage staff and assist in team development through guidance and mentoring.
Improve methods and processes for team efficiency.
Ensure accurate delivery of financial information to clients and auditors.
Liaise with payroll department for payroll and tax reporting.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Partly qualified accountant but working towards fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
University degree in accounting or business
A minimum of 2 years PQE in a similar Finance role.
Experience managing people.
Strong technical accounting skills including tax, financial reporting and financial statements.
Previous use of accounts package such as Xero, Sage or SAP would be desirable.
High level of customer focus towards both internal and external customers.
Strong MS Office Skills with a focus on Excel.
