About the role

  • Assist the project team in the administration and management of activities associated with the construction project
  • Assist with job office set up
  • Prepare the initial set up of CMiC, e.g. Submittal Log Registry, RFI numbering system
  • Prepare and maintain Submittal Logs and RFI Logs in CMiC
  • Assist the project team with the initial set up of PlanGrid to organize contract documents
  • Manage, set up, and oversee progress photo documentation using PlanGrid
  • Post RFIs and maintain accuracy of the project's as-builts
  • Manage and maintain the Material Procurement Log and interact with Field Superintendent(s), Field Foreman, Subcontractor Project Managers, and Material Suppliers/Vendors to ensure timely deliveries
  • Oversee the contract close out process (O&M manuals, As-Builts) and create closeout binders
  • Attend project meetings and assist in preparation/distribution of meeting minutes
  • Attend and participate in WEO Quarterly Risk Management Trainings, networking events, and PE trainings
  • Assist APM/PM in obtaining costs from subcontractors and log costs in CMiC
  • Manage/document PCI Ticket Log and track outstanding RFIs, escalating critical issues
  • Assist with safety tasks: provide safety orientation, generate incident reports, collect IIPP, JHA, SDS and Safety Submittals
  • Assist in creating Site Specific Quality Plan (SSQP) and schedule pre-installation meetings
  • Attend weekly BIM coordination meetings, document meeting minutes, and assist in coordinated model development
  • Design and manage required mock-ups, develop Owner training schedule, record and transmit trainings to Owner
  • Manage punchlist process and participate in initial/acceptance walks with Architect/Owner as needed

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of scheduling and CMiC applications
  • Understanding of basic construction administration processes, including construction documents, schedules, RFIs, submittals and material procurement
  • Understanding of basic daily software tools, such as Bluebeam, Plan Grid, Safety Mojo, BIM 360 Glue
  • Basic time management and organization skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Safety Course
  • First Aid and CPR certified
  • Shows emotional maturity, punctuality and dependability
  • Takes initiative, strives for increased responsibility and desire to learn
