About the role
- Assist the project team in the administration and management of construction project activities.
- Assist with job office set up and initial CMiC configuration (Submittal Log Registry, RFI numbering, etc.).
- Prepare and maintain Submittal Logs and RFI Logs in CMiC; post RFIs and maintain project as-builts.
- Assist with initial set up of PlanGrid and manage/set up progress photo documentation via PlanGrid.
- Manage and maintain the Material Procurement Log and interact with Field Superintendents, Foremen, Subcontractor Project Managers, and Suppliers to ensure timely material deliveries.
- Oversee contract close out process (O&M manuals, As-Builts), create and organize closeout binders, and develop Owner training schedules and videos.
- Attend project meetings, prepare/distribute meeting minutes, and participate in WEO trainings and networking events.
- Assist Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager with obtaining subcontractor costs, logging costs in CMiC, and managing subcontract award timing per schedule.
- Manage submittal process with subcontractors and design team, track outstanding RFIs, and find practical field solutions prior to issuing RFIs.
- Assist with safety orientation, incident reports, collect IIPP/JHA/Safety Submittals, and help draft Site Specific Quality Plans as required.
- Attend weekly BIM meetings, assist in coordinated model development, document BIM meeting minutes, and manage project mock-ups and punchlist processes.
- Participate in initial/acceptance walks with the Architect/Owner as needed.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Basic understanding of scheduling and CMiC applications.
- Understanding of basic construction administration processes, including construction documents, schedules, RFIs, submittals and material procurement.
- Understanding of basic daily software tools, such as Bluebeam, Plan Grid, Safety Mojo, BIM 360 Glue, etc.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Basic time management and organization skills.
- Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Safety Course.
- First Aid and CPR certified.
