Assist Plant Manager to develop and track QHSSE & Maritime Plans as per SVL QHSSE priorities
Support the SVL HSSE Manager in addressing non-conformities and implementing corrective actions
Implement SVL QHSSE initiatives and strategy, including Proactive Road safety, safe warehousing, Contractor management, QHSSE Competencies, Process Safety and Hearts & Minds
Act as secretary of Plant QHSSE meetings chaired by the Plant Manager
Support business manager in QHSSE reporting and data assurance
Implement critical incident reporting guidelines; support incident reporting, investigations (including Tripod) and RAP implementation; input and track incident data in Isometrix
Prepare periodic performance reports and assist business managers in tracking QHSSE KPIs
Identify and manage HSSE risks using HEMP and Case documentation; update and track Remedial Action Plans
Drive development of HSSE culture and coordinate Health Risk Assessments and Health Manuals requirements
Develop QHSSE audit schedules and coordinate audits; carry out facility audits and contractor green-banding process
Track RAP progress for Annual HSSE Business Assurance Letter and assist in preparation
Provide Emergency Response Support and act as Emergency Response Advisor; plan and coordinate emergency drills
Follow-up environmental standards implementation, control air pollution and soil contamination issues and maintain records
Meet any mandatory qualifications required by local law
Act as Security focal point and manage Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 17025, ISO 50001)
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in engineering science (BAC+5), health and safety or related disciplines
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in QHSSE program administration
This requirement may be waived for candidates otherwise suitably qualified/ experienced candidates
Experience of SVL/VE HSSE requirements and standards including the HSSE Control Framework is desirable
Self-motivated and driven; able to work independently with multi-interfaces including virtual teams across VE and SVL entities
Good people skills / interpersonal skills
Previous track record of LOBP Process / Design / engineering / operation and experience in HSSE Technical standards for Safety and plant operations is desirable
Experience in Environment Protection, Health and Security is an advantage
Knowledge of English and local language is critical
Supply Chain Management Discipline knowledge is an advantage
