About the role

  • Lead the North-East Central region to achieve revenue, depletion, distribution, and retail execution goals
  • Develop region and distributor business plans, innovation launches, S&OP forecasts, and volume/distribution/retail execution targets
  • Create action plans to address performance gaps and run market blitzes
  • Measure and improve execution, display execution, and POG adherence
  • Hire, manage and develop Market Managers and Retail Sales Managers; guide activity and provide performance feedback
  • Manage distributor relationships including pricing, profitability, communication, and issue resolution
  • Drive distributor business review processes and leverage scorecards, iDig and PowerBI reports
  • Collaborate with Market Development, Marketing, Brand, Regional/National Accounts, Business Insights and Operations
  • Assess competitive landscape and provide input into channel strategy and retail standards
  • Report directly to Vice President of Sales, North BU; role based in Midwest (preferably Illinois)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
  • 5-10 years of professional sales experience
  • At least 3-5 years of sales leadership experience
  • DSD experience required
  • Beverage experience preferred
  • Proven ability to lead, engage and develop a growing sales team
  • Experience leading, managing and holding field Sales employees accountable to goals & KPIs
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to travel up to 75% within market
  • Must be able to use basic features in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
