About the role
- Seeking a Senior IT Specialty Analyst to join the Revenue Cycle IT team, specializing in Accounts Receivable (AR) workflows within Epic Hospital Billing (HB).
- Drive efficiency and automation across insurance follow-up, denials, credits, and payment posting.
- Leverage Waystar claim status integration to improve automation and reduce manual effort.
- Configure, test, and support Epic system actions to drive AR and SBO operations.
- Partner with operational leaders to resolve AR issues and identify process improvements.
- Support RMO, payment posting, and reconciliation activities.
- Contribute to SBO initiatives, including combined HB/PB statement workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree (Required)
- 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree (Required)
- Epic Hospital Billing (HB) certification (Preferred)
- Epic Hospital Billing (HB) Claims & Remittance (Preferred)
- Hands-on experience with AR workflows (denials, credits, insurance follow-up, adjustments)
- Experience with Waystar claim status and AR automation (Preferred)
- Knowledge of SBO system actions (payment plans, statement holds, self-pay workflows) (Preferred)
- Familiarity with RMO, payment posting, and reconciliation (Preferred)
- Prior involvement in large-scale revenue cycle projects or SBO conversions (Preferred)
