About the role
- Recruitment and Onboarding – Identifying staffing needs, interviewing candidates, checking references, facilitating hiring, and orienting new employees
- Employee Relations – Addressing grievances, handling disputes, mediating conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment
- Compensation and Benefits – Developing and administering salary structures and benefit plans and processing related matters
- Training and Development – Designing and implementing programs to enhance employee skills and productivity
- Policy Development and Compliance – Updating company policies, ensuring adherence to labor laws, and conducting compliance audits
Requirements
- Applicants must be active-duty U.S. Military Members who qualify for the DoD SkillBridge Program
- Strong Communication Skills – Both written and verbal communication
- Problem-Solving and Interpersonal Skills
- Organizational and Time Management Skills
- Knowledge of Human Resources Software and Technology – Proficiency in HR information systems and the Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks
- Expertise in Employment Law – Understanding of labor laws, regulations, and best practices
