About the role
- Develop and implement effective strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Place and manage all purchase orders (POs) daily to ensure accurate entry, proofing, and maintenance
- Provide regular updates to fulfillment partners on inventory status, potential risks, and new opportunities
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to ensure the purchasing process is efficient and scalable
- Utilize data analysis and forecasting techniques to identify trends and make informed decisions on optimal reorder points
- Monitor inventory levels daily and make timely adjustments to meet changing conditions
- Analyze and report on inventory performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving solutions
- Partner with fulfillment partners to request regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy and identify potential discrepancies
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall business performance and troubleshoot systems issues with systems analyst
Requirements
- Proven 2+ years of experience in procurement and inventory management, preferably in a high-growth environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mentality
- Expertise in Excel
- Familiarity with inventory management & forecasting systems
- Tableau experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying; company is unable to sponsor work visas at this time
