About the role
- Serve as a trusted resource for teammates, addressing concerns and facilitating resolution in a timely and empathetic manner.
- Conduct intake conversations, document issues, and escalate complex matters to HR leadership or legal as appropriate.
- Support investigations into workplace complaints, including harassment, discrimination, and policy violations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation in alignment with company policies and legal standards.
- Partner with hospital directors and medical directors to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Assist in developing and delivering training on workplace conduct, communication, and conflict resolution.
- Monitor teammate relations trends and provide insights to improve engagement, retention, and culture.
- Participate in exit interviews, pulse checks, and feedback loops to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of teammate relations policies and best practices across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in employee relations, HR, or conflict resolution.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of empathy and discretion.
- Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience in healthcare, veterinary, or multi-site environments is a plus.
- Needs to be available for our east coast and west coast region.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently. Additional fluency in other languages is preferred but not required.
