About the role
- Create thought leadership, product-level, and customer content across formats (blog posts, articles, white papers, infographics, videos)
- Partner with subject matter experts to develop original content
- Maximize value and reach of content by turning high-performing assets into derivative pieces for multiple channels
- Build and execute content strategies supporting short- and long-term marketing initiatives and campaigns
- Collaborate closely with product marketing, customer marketing, and field marketing to map, optimize, and execute content across the buyer journey
- Be a steward of best practices in messaging, grammar, writing, and style
- Measure and report on content performance and optimize based on results
- Contribute to standards, processes, and tools to drive greater efficiencies in cross-functional work
- Stay on top of content marketing trends and propose tests and new ideas
- Drive brand awareness, affinity, and conversion through strategic use of content and messaging
Requirements
- 3+ years of content marketing experience in B2B tech/enterprise software space; 5+ for senior manager
- Strong portfolio of published work demonstrating exceptional writing skills and ability to translate complex messaging into simple, digestible content
- A thinker and a doer mindset — excited about driving strategy while simultaneously writing and editing content in a variety of formats
- Collaborative team player with great interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and influence projects cross-functionally
- Proven ability to build relationships with other teams and across all levels
- Self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, creative, and analytical
- Fast learner, detail-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced work environments
- Ability to deliver feedback thoughtfully and receive it gracefully
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
