About the role
- Support and coordinate marketing initiatives across the Western US, ensuring alignment with pan-regional priorities and consistent messaging.
- Act as a connector between regions, segments (enterprise, volume, channel), and global teams, sharing best practices and leveraging successful programs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify new opportunities, drive pipeline, and elevate brand awareness.
- Contribute to a flexible, innovative, and team-oriented environment, adapting quickly to evolving business needs.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute regional field events, trade shows, workshops, and both 1st and 3rd party engagements (onsite and virtual).
- Oversee all event logistics and vendor relationships, ensuring events align with business objectives and deliver strong engagement.
- Manage pre-event planning and post-event processes to maximize the impact of regional activities.
- Serve as the regional expert for the SLED (State, Local, and Education) vertical, developing and executing targeted marketing initiatives to drive growth and engagement in this sector.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to tailor messaging, campaigns, and events for SLED customers and prospects.
- Stay current on SLED market trends and opportunities, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with global marketing teams and regional peers to support, analyze, and optimize digital marketing initiatives (email, webinars, digital ads, social media).
- Monitor and assess campaign and event performance, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support ad hoc digital marketing projects and initiatives as needed, ensuring alignment with broader business priorities.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing, communications, event management, or a related field.
- BS/BA in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related major.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; adept at logistics and multitasking.
- Digital marketing experience (email, social, webinars, paid media) preferred.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in reporting and analytics tools (Excel, CRM, marketing automation platforms).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flexible, and collaborative environment.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required (up to approximately 25%).
