About the role
- Play a critical role in working directly with customers for service calls
- Perform field service work, data collection, and overall support for all paper machine clothing related issues
- Assist in performing shutdown services related to paper machine clothing
- Perform inspections and services between clothing installations
- Conduct minor equipment and inventory audits that support customer contracts / agreements
- Work closely with Product Managers, Sales, and Technology experts to ensure cooperation is focused on the customer with meaningful results
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree (BA, BS) from four-year college or university
- Minimum of 5 years related experience and / or training - preferably in paper industry
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prefer strong understanding of paper machine clothing, but willing to train with appropriate background and willingness to learn
- Trouble-shooting abilities are key
- Travel required to customer sites
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
