Assure product performance to customer requirements.
Supply technical advice or service on product application.
May conduct training and service programs in the operation and maintenance of products.
Service accounts with major importance, independently handling problems requiring considerable technical ability and ingenuity.
Must be able to troubleshoot all problem areas efficiently and effectively on Milacron equipment and related systems.
Must be proficient in control systems.
Ability to manage special projects and follow-up with procedures and proper documentation.
Must be able to lead and train less experienced service personnel when assigned to similar projects.
Must be able to maintain good customer relations and communications.
Requirements
Associate Degree in technical field or 2 plus years of related experience, preferably as a Field Service Engineer or Technician, or combination of education and experience.
Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
Ability to travel out of town and work overtime.
Proven mechanical and electrical skills with the ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
Experience in repair and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics of complex systems.
High degree of understanding of installing computer software programs as they pertain to manufactured machines.
