• Fungeren als het belangrijkste aanspreekpunt voor HR-gerelateerde vragen van al onze werknemers en teamleiders;
• Reageren op en verwerken van alle inkomende e-mail in onze HR-mailbox;
• Behandelen en verwerken van inkomende oproepen en berichten over alle soorten verlof en ziekte;
• Verwerken van nieuwe medewerkers: denk aan onboardingdocumentatie, aanmaken van bestanden en coördinatie van onboarding;
• Zorg dragen voor aanbiedingen aan nieuwe medewerkers en het opstellen van contracten;
• Eind-tot-eind monitoring van de levenscyclus van de medewerker;
• Ondersteuning bieden aan medewerkers bij de inschrijving en verwerking van voordelen en het salarisproces, om ervoor te zorgen dat maandgegevens nauwkeurig en op tijd worden aangeleverd;
• Onderhouden van onze personeelsgegevens om een hoge mate van nauwkeurigheid en tijdigheid bij het verwerken van wijzigingen en nieuwe medewerkers te waarborgen;
• Verantwoordelijk voor HR-communicatie (bijvoorbeeld HR-nieuwsbrief);
• Denken aan professionalisering en optimalisatie van onze HR-initiatieven en processen – proactief zijn en nieuwe ideeën initiëren wordt zeer gewaardeerd.

IT Project Delivery Management Consultant – Experienced

Data Engineer

• Lead end-to-end data engineering projects, from gathering requirements to implementing and delivering technical solutions.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and architectures for ETL/ELT processes, ensuring that data flows efficiently and reliably.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, working closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational goals.
• Ensure scalability and performance of data solutions that handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Apply DevOps and CI/CD principles to streamline development workflows and automate deployments.
• Introduce new tools, technologies, and frameworks to continuously improve data infrastructure.
• Mentor junior team members, supporting their professional growth, and fostering a culture of learning within the team.

Senior Data Engineer

• Acting as a main point of contact for HR-related inquiries for all our employees and team leads;
• Responding to, and processing of, all incoming email in our HR-mailbox;
• Handle and process parental leave and other leave-related questions;
• Manage IND procedures for highly skilled migrants and occasionally assist with the 30% ruling;
• Prepare and send offer letters and employment contracts to new hires, collect employee information for onboarding, and process all details in our internal HR system;
• End-to-end monitoring of the employee lifecycle;
• Providing support to employees for the enrollment and processing of benefits and the payroll process, ensuring monthly data is accurate and provided on time;
• Maintaining our employee data, to ensure a high degree of accuracy and timeliness in processing changes and new information;
• Being proactive and initiating new ideas is highly valued;
• Respond to (ad-hoc) data requests and maintain key HR data insights, mainly using Excel;
• Assess and optimize HR processes, identifying and automating those with the highest potential for efficiency gains;
• Contribute as HR data expert to the ongoing Pay Transparency project, collaborating with colleagues across countries;
• Standardize and simplify HR contracts and letters, aligning them with Valcon’s brand guidelines.

Backend Engineer

• Take technical ownership of the entire software development life cycle – from gathering requirements to designing, developing, implementing, and continuously improving scalable applications.
• Apply best practices in software architecture and ensure robust, maintainable, and future-proof solutions.
• Work on mission-critical systems within modern cloud-native environments, together with multidisciplinary Agile teams.
• Design and set up microservices, build APIs, and design CI/CD pipelines.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to the client.
• Mentor colleagues, share knowledge, and continuously improve the development process.

Lead Java Developer

• Als Lead Data Engineer bij Valcon krijg je de kans om end-to-end data engineeringprojecten te leiden — van het ophalen van requirements tot de implementatie van technische oplossingen.
• Je speelt een cruciale rol in het ontwikkelen en optimaliseren van data pipelines en architecturen voor ETL/ELT-processen, zodat data efficiënt, betrouwbaar en schaalbaar beschikbaar is.
• Je werkt nauw samen met data scientists, analisten en business stakeholders om technische oplossingen goed te laten aansluiten op de organisatiedoelen.
• Daarnaast pas je principes toe uit DevOps en CI/CD om ontwikkelprocessen te versnellen en deploys te automatiseren.

Lead Data Engineer

Software Engineer

• As a Senior Mendix Consultant, you will combine the role of consultant with that of an application developer.
• You will be working in a multidisciplinary project or DevOps team, which has end-to-end responsibility for their project and applications.
• You will facilitate workshops to identify the requirements of the client, and use your technical expertise and platform knowledge to translate these business requirements into high-quality IT solutions including mobile applications, business applications and workflow systems.
• You will continue to specialize in the technology and applications of the platform, in addition you will assist in pre-sales activities.
• You will coach junior Mendix Consultants and perform quality assurance activities.
• For more experienced (5+ years) consultants, you will use your technical expertise, platform knowledge and development experience in a multidisciplinary project or DevOps team to implement and manage high-quality IT solutions, which will include mobile applications, business applications and workflow systems.
• Depending on your experience, you will have one or more of the following responsibilities: Designing, developing and testing innovative Mendix solutions in an agile way.
• Coordinating with clients and end-users on specifications, design and final product.
• A leading role in workshops, Proof of Concepts, innovative development projects or DevOps teams.
• Training and coaching of business consultants and junior developers in working with and applying the Mendix Platform.
