About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead complex IT delivery programs aligned with clients’ strategic goals
Design and deliver end-to-end IT solutions from architecture through implementation
Develop technology departments by building capabilities and implementing governance structures
Advise on and implement modern application delivery and data platforms
Drive digital transformation by optimising processes and enabling new business models through technology
Identify opportunities for new projects and shape them into concrete Valcon assignments
Mentor junior consultants and help grow Valcon’s ITPDM practice
Contribute to thought leadership in IT consulting
Run client workshops aligning business needs with IT solutions
Analyse data, prepare reports, refine solution designs, engage stakeholders, and contribute to project deliverables
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored solutions and business value

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 8 years of relevant work experience in IT project management, business analysis, or consultancy
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Information Management, or Computer Science
Experience leading teams and managing stakeholders in complex client environments
Affinity with technology, including application development or low-/high-code solutions
Fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken
Strong leadership skills and a results-driven mindset
Experience with agile working and program management methodologies
