• Maintain a portfolio-wide view across all active launches and ensure every project stays on track against its timeline.

• Quantitative Analytics: Lead advanced quantitative modeling and analyze complex risk data to provide strategic insights on liquidity, funding, and stress testing (ILAAP).
• Risk Governance: Design and implement comprehensive mitigation strategies and robust risk controls across our core business processes.
• Projects & Tooling: Own high-impact risk projects, including the architecture and deployment of next-generation risk models and tools—initially for Financial and Non-Financial domains, with a clear path into the broader universe of Risk Management.

Senior Liquidity Risk Manager

Data Scientist

• Own the end-to-end relationship with Upvest’s market data and static asset data providers.
• Lead commercial negotiations independently and end-to-end, from initial terms through to signature and renewal.
• Ensure that Upvest’s redistribution of market data to B2B clients is properly licensed across all use cases and client types.
• Fulfill entitlement and usage reporting obligations to direct reporting exchanges and data sources. Maintain accurate records of Upvest’s data consumption and distribution to support audit readiness at all times.
• Act as the expert voice on market data licensing for internal teams advising on what data products clients can access, at what cost, and under what licensing conditions.
• Lead the assessment, selection, and onboarding of new market data providers and exchanges as Upvest expands into new asset classes and markets.
• Establish and maintain best-practice governance processes for market data management.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through licence renegotiation, consolidation, or usage optimisation.
• Monitor policy and commercial changes from exchanges and vendors, assess their impact on Upvest, and proactively communicate material developments to relevant stakeholders.
• Provide support in the management of other Network partners where needed, working closely with the Head of Network to ensure consistent partner oversight across the team.

Senior Data Governance Manager

• Unser Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS) sowie zugehörige Arbeitsanweisungen weiterentwickeln und pflegen.
• Robuste interne Kontrollen für steuerliche Prozesse etablieren und laufend überwachen.
• Bei Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen eng mit dem Accounting-Team zu steuerlichen Themen zusammenarbeiten.
• An bereichsübergreifenden Projekten mitwirken, die Steuer-Compliance mit Accounting- und Unternehmenszielen verzahnen.
• Die steuerliche Bewertung und Strukturierung bei der Gründung neuer Gesellschaften und Betriebsstätten im Ausland begleiten, u. a. hinsichtlich Rechtsformwahl, Registrierungspflichten und Betriebsstättenrisiken.
• Lokale Steuerberater:innen in den jeweiligen Ländern koordinieren und sicherstellen, dass neue Einheiten von Beginn an steuerlich korrekt aufgesetzt und in unsere Konzernstrukturen integriert werden.

Corporate Tax Specialist, Steuerreferent

• Prepare and submit VAT pre-notifications, corporate income tax and trade tax returns, and other tax filings on time.
• Contribute to preparing and maintaining transfer pricing documentation
• Assess and support payroll tax matters in close coordination with the People team.
• Develop and maintain our Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS) and related work instructions.
• Establish robust internal controls for tax processes and monitor them on an ongoing basis.
• Work closely with the Accounting team on tax matters during monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects that align tax compliance with accounting and business goals.
• Support the tax assessment and structuring involved in setting up new entities and branches abroad, including choice of legal form, registration requirements, and permanent establishment risks.
• Coordinate local tax advisers in the relevant countries and ensure new entities are set up correctly from a tax perspective from day one and properly integrated into our group structure.
