Key responsibilities & impact

Own and shape the tribe's roadmap with real autonomy
Partner closely with product tribes to understand needs and translate into platform priorities
Work with modern tools and technologies, influencing technical direction and stack
Directly influence reliability, velocity, and quality of every product shipped

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to bridge strategic "why" with engineering solutions
Strong interest in Upvest's product domains and a proactive desire to understand business use cases
Experience in leading and growing larger engineering teams
Prior experience in the Fintech domain
Strong technical expertise in developing highly scalable, distributed, asynchronous, and resilient platforms
Strong work ethic and principles such as pragmatism
Security-focused mindset and a high sense of ownership
Excitement to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment
Experience with API-first and SaaS applications (great if you have)
Experience building and running microservice-based event driven distributed applications (great if you have)
