About the role
- Presenting, demonstrating and developing new business; working on own initiative to convert opportunities to sales
- Provide Clinical Support to Customers in Urology & Gynaecology, Laparoscopic, Cardiovascular & Thoracic instrumentation and consumable products
- Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships
- Achievement of sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis
- Assist customers with clinical, technical and commercial enquiries
- Business planning and implementation; development of new business opportunities and determination of new client and market potential
- Systematic collection, presentation and interpretation of market and competitor information
- Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance
- Implementation of new product launches and other corporate activities within area of responsibility
- Attendance at relevant conferences and meetings
- Continuous professional and personal self-development
Requirements
- Surgical Sales person with 3+ years’ Medical sales experience
- Experience of selling into operating theaters; advantage if existing relationships with Urology, Gynaecology and Laparoscopic Surgeons
- High reliance on drive and planning and excellent organizational and account management skills
- Willing to travel within the UK
- Full training provided
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full, clean driving license (company car provided)
- Clinical or Medical device sales background is essential
- Ideally based in the East Midlands
