- Model a data-driven, customer-first approach and inspire cross-functional alignment
- Be the clear and enthusiastic voice of the customer and industry—representing needs to Product and Sales leadership
- Drive research (ICP development, persona GPTs, predictive market sizing) leveraging AI to inform positioning and GTM strategy
- Lead industry-specific positioning strategies reinforcing authority within GovCon and AEC
- Ensure the team provides direction to Growth/Demand Generation, Events MarComm, and Sales Enablement
- Ensure ICPs and Personas are up to date and operationalized
- Translate complex product capabilities, including AI-driven solutions, into compelling, solution-oriented narratives
- Develop and evolve differentiated, value-based messaging and ensure consistent storytelling across channels
- Act as a thought leader at internal and industry events, webinars, analyst briefings, and customer forums
- Own execution of commercial product launches for Tier 1 and Tier 2; quality check Tier 3 deliverables
- Partner with Sales, Growth Marketing, and Customer Success to provide enablement assets, training, and competitive intelligence
- Map buyer journeys and consult content and campaigns on stage-specific topics
- Champion adoption of AI tools to enhance research, content development, personalization, and measurement
- Ensure team is fluent in language of AI products and can position them effectively
- Work closely with Product Management to provide market feedback and shape roadmap
- Partner with Demand Generation and Digital teams to design integrated campaigns and optimize web pages
- Collaborate with Brand & Communications on thought leadership, company positioning and industry narratives
- Establish KPIs for product marketing programs and analyze performance to improve GTM effectiveness
- Understand GTM metrics (pipeline, win rates, market adoption) linking product marketing to measurable business outcomes
Requirements
- 12+ years’ product marketing experience in high-growth B2B SaaS
- 5+ years leading a team of product marketers
- Experience performing research, building competitive analyses, synthesizing insights and presenting to a diverse go-to-market organization
- Strong communicator with executive presence and ability to influence across C-suite, Product, Sales, and customers
- Demonstrable ability to attract, inspire, grow and retain top talent
- Product marketing expertise focused on business productivity applications
- Demonstrable analytical experience used to markedly improve customer development, product adoption, and sales process via relevant metrics (e.g., content effectiveness, win rate, market penetration)
- Ability to travel to customer and/or partner sites, conferences, or other field events, as well as quarterly working sessions (~20-25%)
