About the role
- Work closely with colleagues at all levels, from senior business leaders to front line staff
- Support assessment, design and delivery of enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives spanning multiple business lines/functions
- Gather and analyze best practices within and outside U.S. Bank to establish benchmark data and leverage predictive analysis
- Formulate and test hypotheses, develop and communicate recommendations for projects and workstreams
- Manage project and workstream activities as part of enterprise-wide transformation initiatives
- Work with business leaders to shape and manage project scope, drive implementation, and ensure sustainable outcomes
- Provide objective recommendations to create value, increase productivity, reduce cost, maximize growth, and improve business performance
- Determine how new information technologies can support reengineering of business processes
- Create and manage stakeholder updates, including executive-level presentations
- Develop strong working relationships with business partners, subject matter experts, support functions, and other key stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Four or more years of related experience
- Broad understanding of business line products and overall strategy (preferred)
- Ability to solve complex problems and engage with different levels of stakeholders (preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance (preferred)
- Effective communication and project management skills (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (preferred)
- Previous project management or process improvement experience preferred
- Previous banking or financial services experience preferred
- Must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
