About the role
- As Senior HR Operations Advisor, play a key role in day-to-day People processes and act as an SME in people policy, systems and lifecycle processes.
- Employee Lifecycle Support: point of contact for employee queries; draft and review employment contracts and employee-change documentation; support onboarding; manage and analyse exit interviews.
- HR Operations & Compliance: coordinate pre-employment checks; ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and GDPR; maintain accurate people data and reports; partner with Finance, IT and Admin; administer employee benefits programs.
- Systems and Process Improvement: own and improve core People operational processes focusing on onboarding, offboarding and employee changes; source, evaluate and implement a new HRIS.
- Project work: support the CPO on people-related projects as the business grows.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HR Operations or generalist roles, preferably in a start-up, scaling environment
- Knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance
- Extensive experience with HR systems (e.g. BambooHR, HiBob or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Strong process mindset with proven ability to design, document and improve scalable HR workflows
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of sourcing, evaluating and implementing a new HRIS into an SME (desirable)
