About the role
- Administer and manage Nursing Services for residents in accordance with physician orders and residents' total needs
- Provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care
- In the absence of the Administrator, assume center operations
- Lead DON orientation and mentorship to empower personal and professional development; support leadership training
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a culture of learning and safety
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school (preferred)
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting (required)
- Two years of experience in a DON role (required)
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
