About the role
- Partner with the People Team and Sentry leadership to develop and execute HR strategy and workforce planning
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on talent management, organizational effectiveness, and succession planning
- Resolve complex employee relations cases, conduct internal investigations, and manage immigration processes
- Support performance management, discipline, employee complaints, coaching, and employee engagement strategies
- Ensure legal compliance and stay up to date with labor laws and HR best practices
- Develop managers and leaders; support leadership development, coaching, and succession planning
- Collaborate with People Operations on leave administration, HR policies, and benefits inquiries; promote self-service HR tools
- Identify and lead HR process improvements to drive consistency and efficiency across subsidiaries
- Collaborate with People Programs & Engagement teams on employee experience, DEI initiatives, and culture
- Lead cross-functional HR projects and strategic initiatives to foster an inclusive, high-performing workplace
- Provide day-to-day HR operations support and other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- 6+ years in HR with a focus on Employee Relations, Performance Management, Recruiting, Compensation, and Workforce Planning
- At least 3 years of experience in a call center or customer service industry
- Proven track record in managing complex employee relations
- Demonstrated understanding of HR principles, including recruitment, performance management, and compensation
- Demonstrated resilience under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives, influence outcomes, and achieve results
- Ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with business unit leadership, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening, coaching, empathy, and handling sensitive matters with tact and professionalism
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
- High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and make time-sensitive decisions
- Experience engaging with diverse employee groups and adapting communication style to various cultural backgrounds
- Willingness to undertake ad-hoc projects, learn new skills, and commit to task completion
- Nice to have: Experience with Rippling, Okta, Confluence, Jira, and G-Suite
