About the role
- Lead a newly formed nearshore Acquisition Team in collaboration with the team’s Tech Lead
- Act as a primary point of contact for U.S.-based Product Owners and Solutions Architects
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deeply understand their challenges and propose effective solutions
- Maintain and prioritize the team’s backlog, balancing competing priorities to maximize value delivery
- Oversee the execution of sprints and ensure alignment with business goals
- Facilitate retrospectives to drive learning and adaptation
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of agile practices and processes within the team
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience
- 3+ years as a product manager or product owner
- Track record of increasing responsibility in product management
- Highly effective at leading teams without authority
- Experience developing and deploying features for a highly considered product or service
- Ability to craft qualitative and quantitative feature tests
- Clear and concise written communication; ability to summarize large, complex, and conflicting data
- Experience at a high-growth startup or within insurance or financial services is a plus
- Strong understanding of agile principles and practices; experience managing backlogs, writing user stories, and facilitating sprints
- Proficiency in agile tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- Familiarity with business analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Visio) is advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
