About the role
- Architect and deploy advanced ML models with real-world applications (e.g., model & predict user behavior, optimize chatbot & voicebot using LLMs and custom components)
- Develop and architect complex machine learning models to address critical business challenges
- Take ownership of the end-to-end modeling process from ideation to deployment and maintenance
- Conduct thorough data preparation and analysis to ensure quality and relevance of input data
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product and Data Engineering to productize and deploy models into production
- Contribute to large-scale company initiatives and solve previously untackled problems
- Report directly to the cofounder/CTO and help scale the company from 5M to 50M customers
Requirements
- PhD in Physics or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying models from scratch
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques
- Experience architecting and deploying advanced ML models, including LLMs and chatbot/voicebot components
- Experience with end-to-end modeling: ideation to deployment and maintenance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to conduct data preparation and analysis
- Experience collaborating with Product and Data Engineering to productize models
- Passion for real-world application of machine learning
- Authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada (application asks about this)
