About the role
- As our Growth Associate, you’ll be an early member of Tonic’s founding Growth team, playing a key role in helping us identify and scale new marketing channels. You’ll run experiments, learn what works (and what doesn’t), and help systematize wins into repeatable playbooks.
- You’ll report directly to Ray (Tonic’s co-founder and Head of Growth), and work alongside a powerhouse growth team — including Luna (executional lead on influencer marketing) and expert consultants like Haina (Duolingo, TikTok) and Will (former Head of Growth at Instrumentl).
- What You’ll Do
- You’ll explore and execute across multiple growth levers, including paid, organic, product-led, and community.
- Experimentation & R&D
- Launch fast 0→1 growth experiments across multiple channels
- Build business cases and prioritize ideas based on ROI
- Document learnings and propose next steps
- Execution & Collaboration
- Own timelines and deliverables for campaign launches
- Coordinate with product, design, content, and influencer teams
- Assist with copywriting and creative strategy where needed
- Tracking & Optimization
- Monitor CAC, conversions, and retention across initiatives
- Propose and implement A/B tests
- Create light dashboards or reports to track impact
- Playbooks & Delegation
- Turn validated experiments into repeatable playbooks
- Help manage contractors or freelancers as needed
- Systematize processes for scale
Requirements
- 2+ years in a growth, marketing, or startup role
- Track record launching and iterating on campaigns
- Excellent written communication
- Comfortable with Notion, Google Sheets, and AI tools like ChatGPT
- A strong sense of ownership and curiosity
- Bonus: experience in music, creator tools, or education tech
