About the role
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Toast products, extensible tools, and integrated partners, clearly articulating their value within an enterprise technology stack
- Act as a trusted partner to Enterprise Sales Representatives by leveraging product expertise to collaboratively identify solutions that meet prospect needs
- Translate business goals into tailored solutions that align with customer requirements
- Travel nationwide to present Toast solutions to key stakeholders, including executive teams at leading restaurant brands
- Effectively demonstrate the value of a comprehensive solution to each buying persona involved in the decision-making process
- Collaborate with the Toast product team to understand the roadmap and influence strategic product investments
- Leverage restaurant industry experience to consult with prospects on how Toast can drive competitive performance
- Work with the marketing team to plan and execute customer conferences and industry trade shows
Requirements
- Hospitality, POS Knowledge or related industry experience required
- Experience with multi-location brands, enterprise/franchise IT systems, or complex organizational structures is highly desirable
- Must be willing to travel 30% or more to support business needs
- Requires strong presentation skills, including executive presence and the ability to articulate complex products and ideas with clarity
- Highly collaborative, serving as a trusted partner to sales, onboarding, and product teams
- Strong understanding of APIs; coding skills not required
- Highly organized, with a proven ability to manage a multi-stage pipeline of high-touch deals while maintaining strong ownership and follow-through
- Ability to handle complex customer communications fluently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM (nice to have)
- Experience with MEDDPICC or similar structured sales methodologies (nice to have)
- Prior B2B sales experience within the upmarket restaurant, hospitality, or retail sectors (nice to have)
