About the role

  • Develop account plans for new and/or existing small to mid-sized corporate accounts in assigned territory
  • Actively prospect new customers and new business at existing customers to build a strong sales pipeline
  • Maintain sales pipeline with approximately 3x coverage of sales targets monthly and quarterly
  • Lead entire sales process from initial contact and account planning through deal closing to renewal
  • Focus on companies with revenues less than $500M and apply consultative, value-based selling
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets and provide reliable sales forecasts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to tailor solutions to customer needs
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Regularly update CRM (salesforce.com) to maintain accurate sales records
  • Engage in direct client meetings in person or via MS Teams/Gong and travel to customer locations as needed

Requirements

  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years direct field sales experience
  • Sales experience in the corporate sector preferred
  • Experience selling in the FinTech space is a plus
  • Proven track record of sales quota over achievement
  • Proven ability to sell complex software/data solutions to companies with revenues less than $500M using a consultative and value-based approach
  • Experience with high velocity sales and land-and-expand approaches
  • Experience selling to C-level executives and identifying business challenges
  • Skilled in leading detailed sales processes involving various stakeholders
  • Enthusiastic about prospecting and able to manage entire sales cycle independently from initiation to closure
  • Ability to develop and execute an account plan
  • Experience with CRM (salesforce.com) and virtual meeting platforms (MS Teams, Gong)
  • Able to work from home office and travel to customer locations
