About the role

  • Strategize with Sales teams to reach out to Mid-Market and Fortune 1000 companies
  • Prospect new business and provide valued insights and stories showcasing Actian technology
  • Manage multichannel communication activities to validate, nurture and place validated leads into the central CRM system
  • Pass on Marketing Qualified Leads to Sales team or business partner sales team
  • Plan and manage contact strategies to support audience engagement, lead nurturing, conversion, retention and reduce churn rates
  • Liaise closely with other departments and engage stakeholders to ensure CRM and tools are fully embedded across campaigns and ensure fast and efficient lead passing
  • Maintain knowledge of technical aspects of CRM and email system to ensure optimization, delivery and service
  • Execute some email marketing/online marketing including planning, creation and testing of campaigns
  • Maintain accurate and clean customer records in the CRM database, including interactions, customer contacts, and product ownership information

Requirements

  • 1-4 years’ experience of software sales and lead management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Online relationship building skills
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, motivated with a positive attitude
  • Ability to obtain sales-level understanding of numerous complex products and pricing
  • Flexibility in scheduling, due to different time zones and locations
  • A proactive, self-managed, analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Passion for digital techniques and technologies
  • Prior sales training and experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
  • Ability to use or learn to use modern sales prospecting tools, including: ZoomInfo, SalesLoft/Outreach, and LinkedIn SalesNavigator, Drift chat
