Data Engineer

• Be actively involved with the team to design and build new data solutions - OLAP and OLTP
• Develop a variety of data workflows, pipelines, and ETL processes using cloud platform products and internal data management tools
• Promote data quality and governance automation to ensure the accuracy and quality of the data through inspection, validation, processing, anomaly detection and auto-correction
• Translate design specifications into working modules with a hands-on approach in the iterative design and development process
• Write and maintain efficient and reliable code
• Write technical documentation
• Implement best practices when writing code, maps and data flows for automation
• Collaborate in a team environment to design, build, and deliver high quality data solutions

Sales Development Rep

• Strategize with Sales teams to reach out to Mid-Market and Fortune 1000 companies
• Prospect new business and provide valued insights and stories showcasing Actian technology
• Manage multichannel communication activities to validate, nurture and place validated leads into the central CRM system
• Pass on Marketing Qualified Leads to Sales team or business partner sales team
• Plan and manage contact strategies to support audience engagement, lead nurturing, conversion, retention and reduce churn rates
• Liaise closely with other departments and engage stakeholders to ensure CRM and tools are fully embedded across campaigns and ensure fast and efficient lead passing
• Maintain knowledge of technical aspects of CRM and email system to ensure optimization, delivery and service
• Execute some email marketing/online marketing including planning, creation and testing of campaigns
• Maintain accurate and clean customer records in the CRM database, including interactions, customer contacts, and product ownership information

• Advise on data management capabilities: catalog, marketplace, lineage, metadata management, quality, master data management, privacy & security, observability, integration, and regulatory compliance (such as GDPR, CCPA).
• Assess current data landscapes, identify gaps, and recommend actionable improvements.
• Facilitate data stewardship, ownership, and classification, including defining and communicating roles and responsibilities.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments and recommend changes to policies, standards, or technologies.
• Collaborate with business and IT leaders to align data management with operational priorities and facilitate organizational change.
• Architect end-to-end solutions for data management across enterprise applications and systems.
• Deliver reports, workshops, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders; provide thought leadership, training, and advice across projects and policies that impact data flows and governance.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for data owners, stewards, and executives; act as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders.
• Define KPIs to measure the effectiveness of governance programs.
