Responsible for selling Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Bioproduction product portfolio
Engage technical sales specialists from supporting product focused teams
Maintain present customer base while developing new process opportunities
Coordinate custom projects across various BPD functional groups
Meet sales quota and expense targets for assigned territory
Employ effective sales strategies and negotiation techniques
Drive growth using effective territory and account planning skills
Hold weekly discussions with sales manager regarding territory activity
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Marketing, or equivalent
5+ years of selling into the Life Sciences or healthcare market and or industry related experience
The ability to discuss and support product and application requirements across the bioprocessing workflow and engage technical specialists early and often
Must demonstrate a positive approach to collaboration and problem solving, both internally, and in customer engagements
Must be able to develop and maintain solid relationships with accounts within the territory
Strong analytical skills needed to analyze territory sales data and technical information
Requires the ability to perform independently and as part of a team
Experienced in working with SFDC CRM
