About the role
- Own the product lifecycle for Zero-Gap Renters Insurance and support roadmap execution for Student Waiver
- Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Partner closely with engineering to deliver enhancements on time and with high quality
- Manage product backlog and sprint execution, ensuring priorities reflect business impact and customer needs
- Collaborate with operations, sales, customer success, and insurance partners to ensure alignment across delivery and adoption
- Support go-to-market planning: enable sales, partner with marketing on positioning/messaging, and drive adoption KPIs
- Conduct user and market research to uncover insights, validate product direction, and identify new opportunities
- Monitor product performance through analytics, feedback, and KPIs; use insights to iterate quickly
- Serve as the day-to-day subject matter expert for ZGRI and Student Waiver internally
- Contribute to long-term product vision and roadmap with the Senior PM and leadership team
Requirements
- 2+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, insurtech, or real estate technology
- Demonstrated ability to own execution: backlog management, sprint planning, requirements gathering, and delivery
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience making data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to collaborate across technical and commercial teams
- Experience in a client-facing or market-facing role (e.g., sales, customer success, GTM, product marketing, consulting) strongly preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset: resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools (Jira, Confluence, or similar)
- Background in insurance, risk, or property technology is a plus
