About the role

  • Identify, conceptualize, and deliver groundbreaking products that leverage the latest advancements in technology for Disney Experiences Technology
  • Contribute to the vision and roadmap for emerging technology products (AI, ML, computer vision, extended reality, robotics, etc.)
  • Execute iterative approaches to product development from ideation and proof of concept/prototype development to first-run execution of new emerging products
  • Document clear user stories, requirements and success criteria to guide development and measure outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product design, delivery teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and successful execution of the product vision
  • Support the creation and maintenance of product documentation and socialization materials
  • Define and prioritize compelling use cases aligned with business objectives
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product impact, inform decision-making, and communicate outcomes to leadership
  • Report to the Manager, Product Management and manage complex programs to shape capabilities that meet user and business needs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience, preferably with an experience in emerging technologies
  • Experience with an iterative test and learn process, development of POCs as well as Production level deliverables; familiarity with a research and development environment
  • Experience working on solutions for technical, user, and business issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to communicate, influence, and present at an executive level
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
  • Experience working in highly collaborative, cross-functional teams within agile environments
  • Ability to think strategically and drive ideas into action, with a willingness to take personal initiative
  • Ability to work with bi-coastal and/or international teams across multiple time zones
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, creative problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt quickly to change, and manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated experience communicating complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders (preferred)
  • Experience with agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Airtable, Confluence, etc.) (preferred)
  • Strong familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, IoT, AR/VR, or related areas (preferred)
  • Proven ability to evaluate and implement AI, CV, XR technologies (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
