Establish and manage AOPs with each TWDC Segment focusing on sub-category plans, spend influenced, communication, and value generation/savings/ROI
Develop and maintain 3-5 sub-category plans aligned with Segment 5-year strategic planning and deliver against targets
Lead large projects/RFPs/Pitches from source to contract
Together with the Director, develop annual operating plans (AOP) for the General Services team and deliver against targets
Develop and implement tools for rigorous cost and market analysis for Sourcing professionals
Ensure consistent application of procurement processes and develop, implement, monitor, and report performance measures to demonstrate value and ensure supplier performance
Build and maintain relationships with key Segment/Functional executives to become a trusted advisor
Track and report savings, spending compliance and variances and communicate results with the Director and stakeholders
Perform supplier performance reviews and supplier compliance audits in conjunction with the business
Provide leadership, direction, and management to the General Services sourcing team and build/establish strategic relationships with key suppliers
Serve as a business partner to Segment/Functional stakeholders by identifying critical business requirements and providing procurement services
Prepare for and execute clear, structured negotiations following the Strategic Sourcing process
Identify, develop and deploy best practice supplier management, procurement and Category management practices and drive internal skill/capability development
Manage 6 direct reports and demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances
Requirements
10 or more years of progressive experience in Sourcing & Procurement or equivalent experience
5 or more years’ leadership experience in a strategic sourcing and procurement environment or equivalent experience
Executive presence, presentation, and engagement and experience in leading & managing multi-cultural, geographically dispersed teams
Demonstrated capability to build/sustain high performance teams and outstanding communication skills
Ability to work strategically and develop strong business cases for change and exceed the demands of various internal stakeholders across multiple business units and regions
3 or more years Category Management Experience developing and implementing category plans for General Services Categories using a framework that includes: analysis, strategy, implementation, measurement
Detailed and structured cost/financial analysis experience and strong negotiation skills
Basic knowledge of technology as an enabler to driver value across various services
Willingness to travel (position may require up to 10% travel)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Internal/external business consulting experience desired
Experience in Media, Entertainment, or Streaming companies
Experience in Sourcing Media Engineering or Technology Services in a Media & Entertainment or Consulting environment
In depth knowledge of and relevant experience in category management
MBA or master’s degree in another quantitative discipline (preferred)
