Analyst

• You will join the Analytical & Scoring Model Review team within Credit Risk, a team of four within the wider Credit Risk department (approximately 60 FTE). The team operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities. Our work spans various areas of Credit Risk, including peer reviews of key analyses, scoring model assessments, strategic implementation reviews, and performance monitoring and controls across policy areas. In addition, we carry out ad hoc analysis into areas of particular interest.
• As a Credit Risk Analyst (within the Analytical and Scoring Model Review team) you will become familiar with our credit policies and processes so that you can identify exceptions, making use of the increasing amount of data available to our financial services business, ultimately creating a better experience for our customers.
• Reporting to the Analytical and Scoring Model Review Manager, you will support the review of new models and strategies and be involved in assessing the model build process. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with policy teams and contribute to regular performance reviews. You’ll be expected to provide recommendations on customer outcomes and commercial insights, presenting these in a compelling and impactful way to senior stakeholders.
• You’ll need to be able to manage the expectations of stakeholders alongside prioritising your workload ensuring you’re consistently adding value to both our customers and business.
• You’ll be surrounded by the best talent across Financial Services and the wider group – working collaboratively to fulfil the ambitions of the business and the Credit Risk Strategy Department.

Credit Risk Analyst – Model Review

Designer

• Support the line manager in driving positive sales and developing new, trend-led Own Brand Boys ranges (3 months–16 years)
• Work on Casual, Jersey, Leisure, Wovens, Knits and Denim lines
• Think like a buyer when developing best seller updates and push for newness within the range
• Day-to-day communication with core supply chain to adhere to milestones in the critical path
• Assist in fabric sourcing, designing proto samples, fit approvals, print and lab dip approvals
• Create technical design briefs for sample development across kids, menswear and licence teams
• Assist in range planning alongside buying and merchandising; prepare for sign-offs
• Monitor market, competitor activity, catwalk trends and customer/brand DNA when designing ranges
• Process and communicate critical feedback to suppliers; amend styles appropriately
• Ensure weekly checks of best and worst sellers, customer feedback, trade and online product awareness
• Build strong relationships internally and externally to maximise commercial opportunities
• Work across London and Liverpool offices with occasional monthly travel between sites

Assistant Designer, Boyswear

• Join a dedicated Fraud Risk Analytics team within Credit Risk to protect customers and the business
• Analyse fraud trends and behaviours using large datasets to inform strategy
• Design, test and implement fraud rules and controls across the customer journey (from new credit applications to account takeovers)
• Monitor performance of fraud strategies and identify opportunities for improvement
• Deliver clear, compelling insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the business
• Collaborate closely with operational fraud prevention teams (Bolton and Speke) and wider Credit Risk colleagues
• Manage multiple priorities, balancing day-to-day analysis with longer-term strategic improvements
• Use SQL, SAS, Python and advanced Excel to interrogate data and shape decisions

Senior Fraud Risk Strategy Analyst

Backend Engineer

• Full software development life cycle ownership including coding practices, frameworks, tech debt and operations
• Collaborate with Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners and Architects to design and deliver systems
• Identify, build and influence adoption of software engineering standards and tools
• Design and lead application and database design and data flows with consideration of technical and business impact
• Own code quality, non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability) and real-time logging/monitoring/alerting
