About the role
- Engage in applied health services and population health research in a project-based, team setting.
- Provide expertise and support for survey research and administration projects focused on maternal, child, and family health.
- Perform technical tasks and contribute to project leadership and administration.
- Complete work independently on highly complex tasks and may work on multiple projects at a time.
- Lead highly complex research tasks or projects as a co-PI or PI, as needed.
- Independently determine the method(s) for completion of new projects.
- Develop new practices, processes, metrics or models, and provide solutions which may set precedent for the organization.
- Apply developed subject matter and methodological knowledge and advanced understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects.
- Provide guidance to research project and project sponsor colleagues.
- Convey difficult, complex or sensitive information, and facilitate productive dialogue among project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree in a relevant field of study is required.
- Demonstrated usage of R, SAS, or Stata for data analysis (desired).
- Experience with survey or mixed methods research in maternal and child health (preferred).
- Experience with complex survey analysis and data linkage (preferred).
- Requires successful completion of a background check.
- Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
