💰 £70,000 - £90,000 per year
About the role
- Act as a senior strategic partner to clients, sitting with C-suite stakeholders to understand frustrations and ambitions and translate them into actionable media solutions
- Lead the creation and delivery of powerful media strategies using data-driven insights and craft planning
- Collate, shape and present strategic thinking and client presentations, taking clients on the strategic journey you create
- Manage a patch of clients to ensure consistency of thinking and strategic support
- Lead strategic input into pitches and new business in collaboration with Client Services
- Champion agency intelligence, implement planning processes (FlightPath) and disseminate industry research across the agency
- Deliver strategic consultancy projects to help clients optimise marketing and stakeholder alignment
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across departments, agency partners and media owners
- Mentor and develop direct reports and build capabilities across the wider agency
- Use A.I. tools and prompt design as part of day-to-day approach to strengthen insights and thinking
- Work with planning specialists and media owners to brief and implement media strategies
Requirements
- Extensive experience in writing and delivering media strategies for C-suite clients
- Ability to use data to make compelling business cases for media plans and approaches
- Proven experience of senior stakeholder management both internally and externally
- Ability to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture across departments, external agency partners and media owners
- Experience planning and executing media campaigns within a media agency Client Services team, from brief and strategic development to deployment and reporting
- Working knowledge of all media channels, suitable for senior-level client discussion, planning and briefing specialists
- In-depth knowledge of planning tools (e.g., Kantar TGI, YouGov Brand Index, IPA TouchPoints, Nielsen Ad Intel)
- Experience pitching for and winning new business and/or retaining clients through pitch processes (highly desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including collating and shaping presentations
- Experience in mentoring, developing talent and managing direct reports
- Comfortable using A.I. tools and prompt design to unlock insights and iterate outputs
