About the role
- Lead maintenance resources and establish priorities
- Support operating departments’ Technical Leaders, Maintenance Leaders, Planners and Technicians
- Develop team technical acumen and Progressive Maintenance tool use
- Prioritize work effectively through use of a CMMS
- Lead plant facilities team ensuring reliable operations of infrastructure, utilities, buildings & grounds
- Lead maintenance storeroom team
- Manage maintenance shop staffing, skills and equipment
- Lead Site Progressive Maintenance (PM) Pillar and collaborate with corporate PM Pillar Team
- Establish and track KPIs for safety, quality, and efficiency
- Work with Plant Engineer on 5-year Capital Expenditure strategy to upgrade and maintain plant facilities and equipment
- Support HPO vision and work system
Requirements
- A high school diploma
- Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability leading a team, coaching and developing leaders
- Strong technical and mechanical ability, including problem solving and troubleshooting
- Experience with maintenance work development, planning, and scheduling
- Experience with a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- (Preferred) Bachelor's degree
- (Preferred) Degree in Engineering
- (Preferred) Experience developing and maintaining a budget
- (Preferred) Food processing, pet or human food manufacturing, and/or engineering experience
