About the role
- Reporting into the UK Manufacturing and Global Development Manager
- Responsible for continuity of the Manufacturing operation through the reliability of all assets
- Proactive maintenance ownership, building a bottom-up PPM programme and ensuring spares inventory availability
- Implement an exemplary PPM programme for the Bulk manufacturing process
- Upkeep a CMMS to track and monitor the efficiency of existing systems and identify improvements
- Manage multiple projects across the site during demand peaks
- Control spare parts inventory when required by the business
- Manage and coordinate external contractors on specific projects
- Full project management for the implementation of new processes
- Conduct root cause analysis investigations and provide suggestions to mitigate risks
- Understand regulations around equipment reliability and action reasonable causes for concern
- Collect and analyse downtime data in accordance with systems mentioned
- Manage Engineering budget and ensure we remain within our forecast
- Suggest process improvements during times of high demand
- Communicate effectively across the team when handling new or existing projects
Requirements
- Significant experience handling manufacturing process for a similar business
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously when needed
- A naturally analytical mindset with a meticulous outlook on data and efficiency
- Highly organised and capable of delegating instructions effectively
- Health and Safety focused in all activities
- Experience implementing and managing PPM (planned preventive maintenance) programmes
- Experience using and maintaining a CMMS to track and monitor equipment and processes
- Experience controlling spare parts inventory and managing external contractors
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and mitigation of downtime causes
- Experience managing Engineering budgets and forecasting
- Strong communication skills and transparency
- Ambitious and driven with a team-player attitude focused on team development
- Project management skills for implementation of new processes
