About the role

  • BRC (office furniture manufacturer) seeks a Project Manager of Sales and Product Strategy to join a growing team
  • Responsible for execution of significant projects and key accounts from order initiation through successful installation
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience and Sales Support teams to develop and oversee comprehensive project plans for large dealer accounts
  • Develop detailed project plans to track progress of high-level and critical jobs, involving all relevant departments
  • Ensure accuracy and comprehensive communication internally and externally on assigned projects
  • Collect analytical data on large projects to compare, strategize, and enhance Customer Experience
  • Manage large projects and accounts at order stage, including government and private business in the Canadian and USA markets
  • Understand full project scope (design, sales strategy, engineering) across North America and manage from order placement to installation
  • Provide insights and guidance to dealer partners; ensure critical dates are met
  • Conduct site visits within Canada and the USA to review on-site concerns in coordination with large projects
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Offer creative solutions, including project proposals and BID packages
  • Lead a collaborative team of stakeholders from engineering, design, and sales to ensure project success

Requirements

  • Degree, Diploma, or Certificate from a post-secondary institution preferably in business, interior design, architecture, or a related field
  • PMP certification is an asset
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience
  • Create detailed project schedules, define scope, milestones, and deliverables, and adjust plans as needed
  • Lead and facilitate communication among team members, stakeholders, and vendors
  • Identify potential risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly
  • Track project performance using key metrics, prepare status updates, and ensure accurate documentation
  • Think critically and strategically
  • Achieve results and implement necessary changes to meet objectives
  • Create and maintain a project plan
  • Be organized and detail-oriented; manage multiple tasks under deadlines
  • Commit to meeting expectations of internal and external stakeholders
  • Leverage resources to deliver results and solve problems
